ya, again. But that's ok. It's for marks! Just do it!.

Alright, for this session I'm gonna give my side of view about "Organizational Structures that Support Strategic Initiatives" and "Valuing Organizational Information".

Organizational Structures That Support Strategic Initiatives.

So from my view, basically it's about the IT's roles and their responsibilities. Let me go through ya?.

Chief Information Officer (CIO)

CIO is very important from other roles because they oversees
all uses og IT and ensures the strategic alignment IT
with business goals and objectives.

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

CIO is responsible for ensuring the throughput, speed, accuracy,
 availability and reliability of IT.

Chief Security Officer (CSO)

CSO is responsible for ensuring the security of IT system.
The security is needed in the way to prevent from viruses and
misuse of Information and.

Chief Privacy Officer (CPO)

CPO is responsible for ensuring the ethical and legal use of information.
Some information might be too confidential and not suitable
to be exposed to the public.

Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO)

CKO is responsible for collecting, maintaining, and
distributing the organization's knowledge.
Because they believe that knowledge is power!

Valuing Organizational Information.

Information is everywhere in an organization

The figure shown above is about levels, formats, and
granularities of organizational information.

Transactional information versus analytical information

The value of timely information
      i- Real-time information
                                                  ii- Real-time system

Characteristic of high-quality information include:

Accuracy

Completeness

Consistency

Uniqueness

Timeliness

4 primary sources of low quality information:

1. Online customers enter inaccurate information.
2. Information have different entry standards and formats
due to different system.
3. Call center enter wrong information by accident or too rushed.
4. The external information contains inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and errors.

pheww.. thats it for now ya!
Assalamualaikum and Bye!
